Liliane Puthod & Fiona Gannon take part in SPEAKER at Temple Bar Gallery and Studios - June 18
SPEAKER is a monthly event over six months held in Temple Bar Gallery and Studios organised by Paul Hallahan and Tanad Williams that will set a platform for a number of artists to present a selection of music for one hour. The set will recorded live by Dublin Digital Radio to be broadcast at a future date and offers an insight into each artist and their practice through music.
The second event will be two artists who work together, Liliane Puthod and Fiona Gannon!
Liliane Puthod (1986, France) lives and works in Dublin as a visual artist. She studied in Vienna and graduated from an MFA in Geneva .
Her work focuses around sculptural research into commodity fetishism, consumerism and industrial forms of production in a globalised world.
Dealing with notions of multiplicity and flux within an object or image as it relates to serial production, her work draws from the paradoxical relationship between forms and the material they are made of.
Fiona Gannon is an artist, writer and researcher living and working in Dublin. She graduated from her BA in Visual Arts Practice 2013, and her MA in Art and Research Collaboration in 2016. She is interested in the multiplicity of others that constitute the self, in feeling, in mystery, and in the formation of an alien un-commons.
